Control the humidity in your greenhouse by bringing cold and dryer air from above the closed screen. Eliminate humidity related diseases such as botrytis even with the screens closed.
You can use the room between the roof and screens as a climate chamber. This system will push cold and dry air into the glasshouse. Warmer and more humid air will be pushed up by the cold air and will leave the glasshouse trough the screens.
The system can be equipped with a RPM adjustable vertical distribution fan which ensures an optimum climate for your crop by creating uniform temperature, humidity and CO2. The capacity from both fans can be determined by the horticultural computer, which can be controlled per climate group.
The VentilationJet System®
The VentilationJet System® consists of a VentilationJet intake unit and the Hinovator vertical fan. The intake unit consists of a single duct, approx. 1,400 mm wide, with a fan at the bottom. The duct is attached to one side of the trellis. The intake fan sits under this duct. The Hinovator fan is fitted below. This vertical distribution fan has been developed by Hinova for this purpose. Both the intake fan and the Hinovator are powered by fully controllable and highly durable, energy efficient motors.
How does it work?
The intake fan draws air from the greenhouse ridge through the duct that spans the screens. Your horticulture computer determines the intake volume required at any given time. This outside air is introduced into the flow of the vertical fan that then mixes it with the greenhouse air.
The VentilationJet System® is equipped with a fully adjustable intake fan. This fan brings fresh outside air, from the greenhouse ridge, into the cultivation room. The horticulture computer determines the intake volume required for drying or cooling. The VentilationJet System®, introduces outside air into the airflow of a vertical fan and mixes it with the greenhouse air. Due to the relatively low energy content of the outside air, there is hardly any disturbance in the climate at the mixing point. Preheating the outside air is not necessary.
We determine the optimal number of units of the VentilationJet System® for each project. As a rule, a spacing of approx. 150-240 m2 is used. The range of the vertical fan depends, among other things, on the height of the greenhouse and the type of crop.
The VentilationJet System® is suitable for any type of crop or cultivation system and is integrated into the greenhouse and screen construction. Changes in the type of crop or cultivation system do not lead to modifications to the VentilationJet System®, unless the capacity has to be increased, for example in heavily lit or colder crops. Modules for connection to the horticulture computer are available at almost all leading computer manufacturers.
The VentilationJet System® can be integrated into a local wireless LoRa network, so that only power points are needed. The network controls and registers each fan separately, based on the regulation of a climate group in the climate computer. This makes the VentilationJet System® part of the Internet of Things (IoT).
