Basics of the VentilationJet system: 1. Screen(s) 2. Integrated inlet fan 3. Vertical distribution fan.
The Ventilation Jet mixes outside air with a low Absolute Humidity (AH) content with the air in the growing room with a high AH, resulting in a lower AH and RH in the growing room.
The VentilationJet System is equipped with a fully adjustable inlet fan. This fan brings dry air, from the glasshouse ridge into the more humid growing area. The necessary air volume is determined by the horticulture computer.
The vertical fan of the VentilationJet System mixes both airflows, in which outside air is introduced into the air flow of the vertical fan and mixed with air from the cultivation room. Due to the relatively low energy content of the outside air and the capacity of the vertical fan a temperature drop at the mixing point hardly occurs.
Pre-heating of the outside air is therefore not necessary.
Installation
For each project a division will be made to determine the number of units of the VentilationJet System. As a rule, there is a pattern of 1 Ventilation jet in about 150-250 m2. The range of the vertical fan is dependent on the speed of the fan and of the height of the greenhouse. The lower the greenhouse, the smaller the range or the higher the engine speed. With calculations, measurements and smoke tests, we will find the optimal position for your situation.
The system is suitable for any crop and is integrated into the greenhouse structure. Changes in crop or cultivation system does not lead to changes in the system. Modules for connection to the horticulture computer are available from almost all leading computer manufacturers.
